PROJECT: GRANTS & AGREEMENT SHAREPOINT
Problem: New supervisors in the national forest struggled with managing grants and agreements, leading to missed deadlines due to the complex and time-consuming training process.
Goal: Create a centralized training resource to simplify grant management for new supervisors.
Solution: Developed a mini-course covering all aspects of grants and agreements, providing essential tools and guidance. Hosted on a SharePoint page for easy access, the course was so effective that regional leaders requested to adopt the format across the entire region.
PROJECT: ALL EMPLOYEE INTERNAL WEBSITE
Problem: The internal employee website was outdated and couldn’t be updated due to obsolete coding.
Goal: Develop a modern internal website using SharePoint 365 apps.
Solution: Built a new internal site with accurate, helpful links for onboarding employees. Collaborated with program supervisors to ensure all information was correct. Employees praised the update, appreciating the improved visuals and easy access to essential resources.
PROJECT: REVAMP FOREST SERVICE WEBSITE
Problem: The agency’s website required a full update, including new coding and images, to align with government standards.
Goal: Complete the website update within three months.
Solution: Finished the update in two months, implementing new images, code, and information while making weekly news updates.
